Catch A Dragon Type Pokemon

The Quarry - The Loop
The Dragon blazon (ドラゴンタイプ, Doragon taipu) is one of the 18 Pokémon elemental types.
The Dragon-type is ofttimes considered an bequeathed type as many Legendary Dragon-type Pokémon are revered as deities. Other Dragon-type Pokémon are oftentimes difficult to catch and train. They too evolve late and are relatively rare. An interesting fact is that the stats of many Dragon-type Pokémon surpass the stats of other types of Pokémon.
About Pokémon with the Dragon-type are usually reptilian in appearance, with a few exceptions being Charizard (who is Fire/Flying by default, but can get function Dragon-type if exposed to a Charizardite Ten Mega Stone). Other Dragon-type Pokémon lack draconic traits, such as Vibrava (who closely resembles an insect more than a dragon) and Alolan Exeggutor (with traits more shut to a plant, more than specifically a palm tree).
Notable Dragon-blazon users include Lance (the last member of the Kanto Elite Iv and then Johto League champion), Clair (the Blackthorn City Gym Leader), Drake (the last member of the Hoenn Aristocracy Four), Iris (Gym Leader of Opelucid City so Unova League champion), Drayden (the Opelucid Metropolis Gym Leader); Drasna (a member of the Kalos Elite Four), Ryuki, and Raihan (the terminal Gym Leader in Galar).

Relations with other types
- They're weak against themselves considering only a dragon could overpower another dragon. It could too exist that being a magical creature, they can only be defeated by another magical fauna, hence the Dragon and Fairy weaknesses.
- They're weak confronting the Ice type because dragons are reptilian creatures and reptiles are cold blooded (ectothermic), which causes them to become tedious and lethargic when faced with common cold temperatures.
- The Steel type resists them considering in legends, knights used armor of that material to defend themselves when facing a dragon. Strangely, they're not weak to the Steel type.
- They accept no outcome against the Fairy type because in certain mythologies, fairies' magic could boss oriental dragons. While dragons were oft immune to magic in European legends, information technology is a common theme in fairy tales that knights slay the dragon and for dragons to be weak to magic.
- They're resistant to the Grass , Fire , Water and Electrical types because in quondam legends, dragons were immune to the forces of nature. This likewise fits with the Generation I starters with each blazon representing Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle & Pikachu.
Trivia
- So far, Dragon has been paired up with every other type at least in one case, except Issues . Although Vibrava and Flygon are the closest.
- Of the 9 Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon that be, seven of them are office Dragon -blazon.
- Kingdra was the but Dragon -blazon introduced in Pokémon Gilded & Silver (not including Ampharos getting the type in an alternate form xiv years later on in 10 & Y).
- In Generation I, it is impossible to get super-effective damage from a Dragon -type motility since the just Dragon -type movement in Generation I was Dragon Rage, which did a fixed 40 damage.
- No Pokémon can have a double weakness to Dragon (since the type is only super-constructive on itself).
- Mega Altaria is the only Dragon -blazon Pokémon that is allowed to Dragon -type moves.
- Dragon -type has the virtually power-increasing items for it with 7. They are Draco Plate, Dragon Fang, Dragon Precious stone, Soul Dew, Determined Orb, Lustrous Orb & Griseous Orb.
- Dragon has the fewest non-damaging moves out of any type, with just 2: ane of which is Kommo-o'southward signature move, Clangorous Soul. and the other is Dragon Dance.
- So far the only shiny locked Dragon Pokémon is Eternatus.
- And so far, not including Silvally the Dragon type has one of the most Legendary Pokémon only behind Psychic .
- Before generation half dozen, Dragon type had dominated the pvp in that location were considered as strongest type, largely weakened after fairy blazon released.
